Revival of |AOTE|

(Before anyone asks, I have changed my username to what it is now.)

Alright everyone.  The time has come to revive AOTE again.  It's been more than four years since Baller and I started AOTE, and I think it's time for this old clan to come back.  I will be sending out emails to select members that I would like to see return and see if they have any interest in doing so.


The first order of business is, what games will we be playing?


A few things I offer up for debate:

Battlefield 3 - It hasn't come out yet, but I wouldn't mind seeing us playing it.


But for games at hand:

All Points Bulletin: Reloaded

APB: Reloaded is a Free2Play video game currently supported by GamersFirst.  It is a 3rd person shooter MMO "cops and robbers" type of game.  The advantages of the game are fun gameplay, clan interaction and full character customization.

The disadvantages of the game are Free2Play = many hackers.  

It's a debatable game, but you guys should check it out at the link I posted.


Combat Arms

Sandmansniper had recommended this game to me as a starting game since it's Free2Play as well.  I played this a while back so I dunno if it's any good anymore.

It's a FPS, similar to any CoD game.


Fallen Earth

Fallen Earth is a MMO / RPG / FPS and 3PS shooter game.  It's a trial-then-$20 game that I'm gonna check out here soon.  Has anyone played this before?


Does anyone else have any game suggestions?  I'm curious to know.  


Anyone that is interested in getting AOTE started up again, post here and let me know your thoughts.

I know people still play battlefield 2142. Maybe it's worth finding a good server to play on or getting our own agai .

I don't even play 2142 anymore.

How is everybody doing? Been such a frigging long time!

Alright. Those who don't report to me on Xfire by Sat 13 August, those on the potentially active roster will be dismissed, regardless of rank.

Cobra, it has been a looong time most likely these guys have moved on consoles. AOTE should get some new gamers into the group now. Most people on my Xfire list are offline, just the one or two mainly active online. Once BF3 is out, hopefully then it will be back to the good old days. And I certainly can't wait for it!

I sent an email out only to the people that expressed interest in reviving AOTE in the past, which was about 7 people.

We can still get AOTE going once new games do come out. Just hard for people to keep upgrading their PC's to keep up with the latest games so they stick to consoles. I'm sure BF3 a lot of people will get it for PC and will look for a group like AOTE to join. Just like starting from the beginning again.
